Dr Greg Waters graduated from Griffith University (Gold Coast) in 2010 with an Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Award for Clinical Excellence in Paediatric Dentistry. He has been working in private practices in the Brisbane and Ipswich region for the last 10 years. Originally from Ipswich, Dr Waters and his wife Dr Linh Truong have been living in Graceville since 2013.
Dr Waters has done further study in both traditional orthodontics and clear aligner treatment, having completed post graduate courses in Progressive Orthodontics, Invisalign and Clear Correct. He offers fixed braces and Invisalign treatment for both children and adults at Chelmer Dental.
In 2022, Dr Waters was recognised as a PLATINUM ELITE INVISALIGN PROVIDER and received two MOLIS COACHING awards for his contributions to the Invisalign Molis international community for general practitioners and Invisalign specialists.
Dr Waters is skilled in all aspects of dentistry, and has particular interest in orthodontics, crown and bridgework and cosmetic dentistry. He aims to create a relaxed appointment and takes pride in helping nervous patients feel safe and comfortable. He enjoys patients of all ages and has extensive experience with special needs and highly anxious patients.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife (Dr Linh Truong) and young daughter, running around after his two spoilt dachshunds, playing soccer (less well these days), working out at the gym, guitar and skiing.
