Principal Dentist
Dr Linh Truong graduated from Griffith University (Gold Coast) in 2009, with an Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Award for Clinical Excellence in Endodontics. She is passionate about family dentistry and enjoys building long-term relationships across multiple generations.
Her special interests are preventative and cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening and composite veneers, endodontics, children’s dentistry and aged care. Her specialty is treating anxious patients and is dedicated to making every individual feel at ease and comfortable.
She is also certified in Nitrous Oxide Sedation.
Dr Linh has been caring for the Chelmer / Graceville community for the past 15 years (since 2010). With an extensive patient following, she feels very fortunate to also look after the wonderful patients who travel to see her from all over regional QLD, interstate and even overseas.
Born and raised in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Dr Linh loves being a part of this wonderful community and you may often find her walking her two long-haired dachshunds (Schnitzel and Clover) along the iconic Honour Avenue. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, artistic endeavours, Zumba, guitar and skiing.
In May 2020, Dr Linh and Dr Greg welcomed their baby girl. Becoming parents has been quite an adventure and they are learning something new everyday!
Dr Linh opened Chelmer Dental in partnership with her husband Dr Greg Waters in December 2020.
Dr Linh is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADAQ) and the Australian Society of Endodontology (ASE).
